Apple have announced that it is adding a gorgeous new pink iPod nano to the lineup of the world’s most popular music player.
The much-requested pink iPod nano is available immediately in an 8GB model for £129. iPod nano features a two-inch display which lets users watch the brand new iTunes® Movie Rentals, or TV shows and music videos purchased from the iTunes Store.
iPod nano delivers up to 24 hours of audio playback or five hours of video playback on a single charge and is encased in a beautiful all-metal design made with anodised aluminum and polished stainless steel, which is also available in silver, black, blue, green and a (PRODUCT) RED special edition. As you all probably already know Apple have released updates for both the iPhone and iPod Touch that allows you to create ‘web clips’ of sites and add them directly to the ‘springboard’ (that is the main screen to most people). Well did you know you can customise the button for your site so if a user creates a webclip you have total control over how it looks. (Try it for this site).
The process is very simple :
Create a 57×57 PNG.
Name it “apple-touch-icon.png”
Upload the file to the root folder of your site. Easy.
Apple have announced that the iPod Touch will now offer Mail.app officially! The update will add Mail, Stocks, Weather and Notes. This is great news for Touch users. The cost of the update will be $20 and will be available from 15th January 2008.
