Doozla Update

The people who brought us the utterly amazing Comic Life and done it again ! Doozla is an ultra simple to use drawing and colouring package for kids. We have been playing with Doozla for the last couple of months and we fully plan to bring a full review very soon.

The Tube 2.6

equinux have released The Tube 2.6 with a completely reengineered EPG engine. Users can now choose between different electronic program guide (EPG) plug-ins and automatically update TV information even when they’re imported from alternative EPGs in the  XMLTV format. One of the biggest publishing companies for television listings in Germany, Bauer Verlagsgruppe, led the way by providing its TV Movie,  Europe’s toughest film critics, EPG service to German The Tube users as a plug-in in The Tube.

A scaleable server application, Final Cut Server automatically catalogues large collections of assets, allows searching across multiple disks and SAN volumes and enables viewing, annotation and approval of content from anywhere using a PC or Mac.

Remix Radiohead with Garageband

Radiohead and iTunes are giving Radiohead fans the opportunity to remix the band’s new single “Nude”, by making the separate ‘stems’ from the song available on iTunes. The ‘stems’ available are bass, voice, guitar, strings/fx and drums. Fans who purchase all five ‘stems’ from iTunes during the first week they are available will be sent an access code to a GarageBand file, which can be opened in GarageBand, Logic Studio or Logic Express. Finished mixes can be uploaded to www.radioheadremix.com, where the public can listen and vote for their favourite remix.
