Film Industry Insight

Young people, aged 16-25, keen to get an inside track on the film industry can do just that in December, as the Cinemagic ‘Talent Lab’, sponsored by Invest Northern Ireland, returns to Belfast as part of the annual Coca-Cola Cinemagic Film and Television Festival for Young People.

Promising to be a fantastic mix of creativity, fun and learning, the ‘Talent Lab’ will offer young people the chance to participate in a unique series of industry masterclasses on 3rd and 4th December, culminating in a special awards ceremony in Odeon Cinemas. Read more

Cinemagic Young Filmmakers

Budding young filmmakers aged 25 and under, are in with the chance to have their short film showcased on the silver screen at this year’s Coca-Cola Cinemagic International Film Festival for Young People in Belfast, in November. Young filmmakers from the UK and Ireland are invited to submit their films to the annual Cinemagic Young Filmmaker Competition which honours the best of young filmmaking talent across different genres. Cinemagic has launched its annual call for young film enthusiasts, aged 10 – 18, to take on the role of film consultants and help select the films for this year’s festival.
