We know first hand how close Mac owners are to their systems, they can almost be like family. But what would you do if your beloved Mac was lost or stolen? There are a lot of products out there to help PC owners retrieve their lost or stolen systems, however very few options for Mac owners. Verey™, is a unique theft recovery solution that allows your stolen Mac to send information back to you regarding its location, as well as other data that can help in the recovery of the system.

When stolen, Verey™ will start recording via a connected video capture device (e.g. iSight) and send emails to the owner’s email addresses. The email will contain the necessary network information: IP address, machine serial number, MAC Hardware Address as well as nearby wireless networks and video clips captured by the camera.

Verey™ I will also limit the usage of the machine by locking up the machine after a certain amount of time. During lock up, the machine screen will shows details how to contact the owner and other information set by the owner.
