Bill Gates Gone and Why we use Mac

Well you won’t have missed the fact that Bill Gates has now had his final days at Microsoft. I used Windows for years and still regularly use the Office suite of software. There is no doubt Bill Gates and Microsoft have revolutionised the way we use computers today. Microsoft has an amazing hold on the business market and there are hundreds of reasons why.

The excellent OneNote application is yet to be matched by Apple and it will be hard to see how MobileMe will complete Exchange server. A couple of years ago we moved to Apple and naturally still run XP using either Parallels or VMWare Fusion and dip in and out regularly. We really do see the benefit of both systems.

BUT….I guess the easiest way to explain why we use Macs and iPhones having been fans of Pocket PC and XP is demonstrated in the following Presentation by Microsoft CEO.
