YouTube to iPod

I discovered by accident today that you can actually use Visual Hub to convert Youtube videos to any other format using Visual Hub. This allows you to carry your favourite YouTube video with you on your video ipod.

To convert a YouTube video simply visit the page on which the video is shown.

In Safari : Click the Window Menu and select activity. You will see a list of downloading content. The YouTube video will be the largest of the files.

  • Simply Double Click on this file and Safari will automatically start downloading the file to your desktop.
  • One downloaded drag the file in to Visual Hub and select the output format and click “Start”
  • Tip: it is advisable to rename the file before conversion from the stand “Get_video” title.

1: Choose what format you want to convert to.
2: Drag in the file(s) you want converted.
3: Click “Start”
