You may remember we reported on the iSkin vibes range of cases with their unquie art work. Sadly to date these cases do not fit the 60 or 80 gig iPods. Thankfully iSkin do offer an alternative in the form of the eVo³ . The amazing eVo³ raises the bar by being the first silicone protector to feature an ultra-clear, scratch resistant screen and face protector for the iPod with video. The case is not as visually attractive as the Vibes range but it does offer excellent protection to all aspects of the iPod, including the screen.

As with all iSkin products, the eVo³ is precision molded to provide the ultimate fit with a high quality finish. One of the most annoying aspect of any iPod case I have owned to date is the fact you have to take the case off to use the universal dock. The good news is that this does not apply to the eVo^3, simply remove the plastic adapter and the iPod fits neatly in to the dock. This is great news as getting the iPod in and out of the case is not a quick action.

The eVo³ features integrated click wheel protection via a thin membrane that allows for full control of the iPod. It protects the iPod’s click wheel from moisture, dirt and wear.

I really do hope iSkin release a Vibes case for the 60 and 80gig iPods soon in the meantime I can recommend the eVo³ as one of the best way of protecting your portable media player from the elements.
