My 10 Daily Apps

I am frequently criticised for the state of both my desktop and the number of applications that feature on my dock. Well I have decided to fight back and list the ten applications I use on a daily basis as form of justification of the cacophony of icons that pack the space.

I actually have the first three applications loading when my back boots (view the video of how to do this) thus is there level of importance in my daily routine.daily

1. TweetieRead our tutorial on getting the most from Tweetie
2. NetNewsWire – The Google Reader syncing masterpiece (read our review).
3. Things -’Getting Things Done’  (Our 3 Top GTD Apps).
4. Transmit – Probably the best FTP for Mac. (Read more).
5. Xmind – Open Source Mind Mapping Software. (Read our review).
6. Photoshop – Not much to say about the industry standard.
7. VisualHub – No longer with us but a big part of my life (Read our tutorial).
8. Little Snapper – Screen grabbing and more (Read our review).
9. EyeTV – Watching TV on my Mac (Review, Education, Tutorials).
10. Final Cut Express – Well I use it in teaching. (Tutorials).

There are obviously a number of applications I use daily such as Safari, Mail and iTunes that there isn’t any point including and I fair number of applications I use particularly regularly that don’t feature. I will be interesting to see how the list changes in a years time.
