TV Shows Come to iTunes UK

itunes.pngFinally Finally Finally…. I never regreted purchasing the Apple TV but now I have one reason why it is a must ! TV shows have now arrived on iTunes UK.

With full seasons of “Lost”, “Grey’s Anatomy” and more at your fingertips, you’ll never miss your favourites. Shop for TV shows on the UK iTunes Store and watch them on your Mac or PC. Or sync them to your video-enabled iPod and watch them on the go. All without sitting through a single advert.

Channel surf from iTunes

Browse the iTunes Store for television shows from ABC Studios, Disney, MTV Networks and Nickelodeon, among others. Find the hottest new shows like the Emmy Award®-winning “Ugly Betty” and locally-produced UK series such as MTV’s “Barrio 19”, Nickelodeon’s “Genie in the House” and Paramount Comedy’s “Comedy Blue”. Rate shows just like albums, or read reviews written by fellow fans. Watch a 30-second preview, then buy the episodes you want.

Repeat as necessary

For as little as £1.89, you can own the latest episode of your favourite show, or purchase past episodes that you might have missed (or want to watch again and again).

All TV shows and other video content are now available in 640-by-480 resolution — four times better than before. That’s ideal for connecting your computer or video-enabled iPod to your TV and watching your shows with friends and family!

I like the idea, but it is really overpriced compared to the US iTunes store – £1.89 for a tv episode regardless of length, compared to $1.99? Not convinced…
