K Transport control - Stop Play
L Transport control - Play forward

Press J or L alternately up to 3X to increase/decrease play speed.

Shift + J Transport control - Play slow forward
Shift + L Transport control - Play slow backward

Hold shift + press J or L alternately to increase/decrease 9 speeds slow!

Right Arrow Step forward 1 frame
Left Arrow Step backward 1 frame
Shift + Right Arrow Step forward 5 frames
Shift + Left Arrow Step backward 5 frames

Space Toggle play/pause

= (kb top row) Timeline zoom in
- (kb top row) Timeline zoom out

Shift + F10 Open Advanced Effects workspace (select clip first)
Shift + F9 Directly open Effects workspace

Enter Render work area
Alt + [ Set work area bar in-point
Alt + ] Set work area bar out-point

Alt + , (comma) Nudge left Moves clip left
Alt + . (period) Nudge right Moves clip right

Includes all clips to the right; move right leaves a gap.

Alt + <- Slide left Moves both clip edit points left
Alt + -> Slide right Moves both clip edit points right

Ctrl + Alt + <- Slip left Moves clip edit points
Ctrl + Alt + -> Slip right Moves clip edit points
