If you ever have to create tutorials or data sheets on computer applications you will know how tricky it can be to produce good screen grabs of open windows. Screenshot plus makes this task a breeze. The dashboard widget is always available in one click and offers a range of options.
The full screen icon creates an image of the entire deskop (including dock).
Timed shots allow you to take a screen grab after a short period. This allows time to set the shot up such as taking grabs of open menus etc.
The camera icon creates an image of the selected window. The window will highlight in a light blue, clicking the mouse confirms capture. This tool is very useful as it removes the need to crop windows to remove background artifacts etc.
Widget capture allows you to screen grab individual widgets. For example the above grab of screenshot plue was created using the widget tool in …. yes screenshot plus 
The selection tool allows you to select any area of the screen with the selected area be highlighted in a light blue colour.
