I was recently listening to a respected ICT consultant describing Apple’s iCal application as “‘too basic for business” I have come across this a few times with regards Apple products and every time it is meant as a criticism !

widgetsA great new TO DO widget has been released this week. To Do is a lightweight and fast widget to manage tasks. Thanks to Mac OS X Leopard it integrates with iCal and Mail. The big advantage: to manage your tasks you don’t have to leave these applications open.

iCal Widget Update

You can see up to two weeks of upcoming events in the same widget without needing to open iCal. Need more info? Mouse over a calendar color to view the name of the calendar, or mouse over an event’s start time to see when the event ends.
