.Mac to close Wednesday

Apple have posted on their site that the .Mac service will cease on Wednesday 9th. Users will still be able to access their .mac mail via a computer but all other services will be down until launch. We would recommend all .Mac users do a full back up to prepare for the upgrade process.

.Mac users are today discovering that sending email to their equivalent me.com address is actually working. To test this replace the @mac.com to @me.com We had a range of success but confirmed the address is definitely working when sending from our own Mac accounts.
