Apple NAS Solutions
Generally we seek to provide solutions and tutorials for the general issues facing the creative Mac User… Well this post is slightly different ! We are trying to establish a work NAS solution for video / itunes that will work with OSX Leopard. Over the last year we have tried a range of different devices, from the HP Media Vault system to a USB drive attached to our router, none have really provided us with the solution we desire.
We are asking DigMo! readers to comment on what they think is the best NAS system available that integrates with OSX Leopard. We are wanting the ability to mount the drive on a number of Macs and ideally use the drive as an iTunes library as well.

We use the HP media vault but it can play up at times. We find it really struggles transferring large amounts of data especially if one of the connections over wifi.
I have heard a few good reviews of the buffalo stuff although would an Iomega Tera drive attached to one of the Macs and shared out not be the ultimate solution ?

a home Xserve would be the ideal for me but I can not see it happening. I am currently looking for a suitable NAS and am considering the new small HP mediavault and assume they work with Apple ?
