Creating Screen Grabs in OS X

Taking screen shots in Apple’s OS X operating system really could not be easier. This video tutorial takes you through three simple keyboard shortcuts that offer different ways to capture elements on your screen.

A quick video tutorial on how to take screen grabs using the OS Shortcuts. The three shortcuts covered :

⇧⌘ 3 for a screen shot of the entire desktop.

⇧⌘ 4 for a set of crosshairs that allow you to select the area of the screen you want to grab.

⇧⌘ 4 (Space) grabs only the window the user clicks.

    Nice video. I like to hold the control key down too, that puts the screenshot on the clipboard rather than creates a file.
