Paparazzi! is a small utility for Mac OS X that makes screenshots of webpages a breeze. If you have ever tried to take a screenshot of a website that is longer than the viewable area of the screen you will know how tricky it can be. Well not anymore Paparazzi is a free application for OS X that creates full screenshots in seconds.Load up Paparazzi and type the URL you want to capture. Paparazzi offers a range of screen resolution and capture sizes.
Then hit the “Capture button” A preview should appear in the window below.
As you can see the entire length of the site is captured as a single file. Once you are happy with the captured image click the “Save Image As” button.
Paparazzi offers a range of save options from format changing to the ability to save a thumbnail version of the image that is scaled in proportion to the main image. The image below is a scaled down version of the file captured when we ran Paparazzi on DigMo!
Parparazzi also supports the grabbing of password protected sites and pages.
It should be noted that the current version is 1.4.3 and is Leopard compatible. Version 1.5 is in beta (also available on site) but is not let Leopard friendly. To download Paparazi click here.
